Everywhere you look, you hear loud buzzwords: “revolution,” “generative AI,” “unicorns.”
In this endless rush for beautiful pitch decks, we often lose sight of what actually matters most.
We somehow forget that hashtag#healthcare is not just about metrics and market share.
It is about real people in their most vulnerable moments.
Looking through the agenda for the upcoming HLTH Europe in Amsterdam, I genuinely smiled when I saw a panel titled: “Implementation optimisation: The dullest session you shouldn’t miss.”
And it is absolutely true.
The real magic in hashtag#HealthTech does not happen during shiny pitches on a main stage.
It is hidden in the “boring” and invisible daily routine.
It is in the servers that do not crash during a sudden influx of patients.
In the complex integration of a new smart algorithm with an old hospital’s clunky database.
In the secure architecture that guarantees a person’s private health data will never fall into the wrong hands.
I am flying to Amsterdam specifically for these honest conversations about the reality of tech deployment, not just the hype.
Who else is planning to be at HLTH next week?
Let’s grab a coffee and discuss the things that actually matter.
