The main goal seemed to be simply rushing a product to market as fast as possible.

This year, at HLTH Europe in Amsterdam, the contrast is absolutely striking.

The startups I am seeing here are tackling fundamentally more complex and deeper challenges.

We are talking about deep clinical integration, strict adherence to medical standards, and complex data interoperability between hospitals.

It is no longer about building just another pretty app with a smart chatbot.

It is about saving lives, ensuring patient safety, and navigating an incredibly complex regulatory landscape.

This shift from a “move fast and break things” mentality to building reliable, life-critical infrastructure is incredibly promising.

It shows that the tech industry is truly maturing.

It is inspiring to see technology finally taking on the most serious challenges of our time.
